The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to establish clear expectations for behaviour and professional standards within Mind In2 Action. This policy ensures a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all employees, volunteers, clients, and partners.

Expected Conduct

1. Professionalism:

  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude in all communications and interactions.

  • Uphold confidentiality and privacy of clients, colleagues, and organisational information.

  • Represent Mind In2 Action with integrity in all professional settings.

2. Respect and Inclusion:

  • Value diversity and foster an inclusive environment free from discrimination or harassment.

  • Avoid language or behaviour that could be considered offensive, intimidating, or exclusionary.

  • Listen actively and respect differing opinions and perspectives.

3. Health and Safety:

  • Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.

  • Refrain from using drugs or alcohol during work hours or while representing the organization.

  • Promote a culture of wellbeing and mutual care.

4. Conflict of Interest:

  • Disclose any personal or financial interests that may conflict with organisational duties.

  • Avoid situations where personal gain could influence professional judgment.

5. Use of Resources:

  • Use organisational property, funds, and resources responsibly and only for legitimate business purposes.

  • Protect digital and physical assets from misuse or unauthorized access.

6. Communication and Social Media:

  • Communicate respectfully and professionally in all forms, including online platforms.

  • Do not share confidential or proprietary information publicly.

  • Ensure that personal opinions shared online are not represented as official organisational views.

 

Unacceptable Behaviour

  • Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind.

  • Theft, fraud, or misuse of organisational assets.

  • Dishonesty, falsification of records, or misrepresentation.

  • Retaliation against individuals who report misconduct or participate in investigations.

  • Any behaviour that damages the reputation or integrity of Mind In2 Action.
     

Reporting and Accountability

  • Concerns or violations should be reported promptly to a Director.

  • All reports will be treated confidentially and investigated fairly.

  • Disciplinary action, up to and including termination, may result from violations of this policy.
