V.I.T.A. = LIFE (Latin)
"The VITA Life model is a bottom-up approach of occupational performance and wellness, that begins at the level of the nervous system, supporting regulation, safety and purpose as the foundation for growth, toward self-understanding, mastery, and ultimately self-actualisation."

Mind In2 Action 2024
An Evidence-Based Path to Healthy lives and Thriving Communities

At the heart of our practice is a powerful, theoretical informed model designed to make sense of how we develop, make sense of the world, grow and thrive—especially following adversity. Think of it as a map: a thoughtfully crafted framework that brings together what we know from therapeutic, and holistic wisdom, into something practical, understandable, and deeply human.

Our model blends the best of Occupational Therapy, Psychology, and Holistic Health, with a clear shift from simply being trauma-informed to embracing a more empowering vision: Healing-Centred Engagement. We believe that whilst trauma, illness and adversity may shape someone’s experience, it does not define who they are. Every person is multi-faceted, unique, and full of potential.

This approach underpins and informs our practice, whether it is delivered virtually or in-person; individually or with a variety of client groups; through regulated clinical work or through holistic workshops and well-being services. Each session we focus on empowering others with translatable theoretical knowledge, and practical insights into each of our modules, whilst weaving into a bigger picture of self-awareness, emotional regulation, social connection, and purpose.

You will learn how your body and mind work together to support health and well-being, how to maintain a balanced (regulated) state, and how to reconnect with nature, others, and yourself in meaningful ways. The goal? To reduce stress, promote wellness, lift mood, and create long-lasting, positive change.
