An Occupational Therapy-Led Approach

Based in Caerphilly and working across South Wales and the West, Mind In2 Action Ltd is an innovative, Occupational Therapy-led clinical and wellbeing service. Our work supports individuals and communities impacted by trauma, environmental stress, and chronic mental or physical health challenges.

At the centre of our provision is our bespoke framework, the VITA Life Model. This integrative model brings together Occupational Therapy theory, psychology-informed approaches, trauma theory, and holistic health principles. It is designed to support central nervous system regulation, foster meaningful occupation, and help individuals reconnect with purpose, identity, and creativity.

Healing-Centred, Trauma-Informed, Somatically Grounded

Our approach goes beyond symptom management. We focus on healing-centred engagement — creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and empowered. Through sensory-informed and somatically grounded practice, we support individuals to build resilience and sustainable wellbeing.

We also believe strongly in collaboration. Mind In2 Action Ltd works alongside local small businesses, community organisations, corporate settings, and statutory services to deliver joined-up, accessible, and context-responsive support. We recognise that wellbeing is relational and systemic, and meaningful change often happens through partnership.

A Shared Achievement

These awards are not only a recognition of our clinical model but of the trust placed in us by the individuals, families, professionals, and organisations we work with. We are deeply grateful to our collaborators and community partners who share our values and vision.

As we move into 2026, we remain committed to growing our impact, strengthening community connections, and continuing to deliver healing-centred, trauma-informed, and somatically grounded support across Wales and beyond.

Thank you for being part of our journey!

Caerphilly-based Mind In2 Action named regional finalist in the UK StartUp Awards 2026

Mind In 2 Action has been named a regional finalist in the UK StartUp Awards 2026 in the Beauty, Health & Wellbeing StartUp of the Year category, shortlisted in Wales.

The UK StartUp Awards was launched to recognise the booming startup scene across the UK, which has accelerated significantly in recent years with around 832,000 new businesses registered in the UK in 2025. Over 900 businesses have been shortlisted for this year's UK StartUp Awards across ten nations and regions. The contribution of these firms, all of which were started in the last three years, is significant, having created nearly 5,000 new jobs since they were established and generating annual sales of over £150 million.

Founded in 2023 by Beverley Williams and Kelly Lewis, Mind In 2 Action provides clinical Occupational Therapy led services alongside corporate well-being services. The business was established to address the increasing need for high-quality mental health and well-being support. By focusing on healing centred engagement, empowerment, and mindset shifts, the team helps a broad range of clients including individuals, case managers, statutory services, and private companies. Their work bridges the gap between clinical support and community-based wellness, ensuring that professional mental health expertise is accessible to both the public and private sectors.

"We are thrilled to be shortlisted for a regional UK StartUp Award," said Bev Williams, co-founder of Mind In 2 Action. "We have spent so much time and energy in the planning process, and now we are finally seeing results, which is heartwarming. This recognition at the regional final is a testament to the hard work put in since our launch. We are looking forward to the next stage, where regional winners will go on to compete at the national final at Ideas Fest in September 2026."

Since its inception, the business has demonstrated significant momentum and professional excellence, recently achieving the major milestone of winning two categories at the Global Pharma Awards. Operating with a dedicated team of two, Mind In 2 Action continues to expand its reach across Wales, driven by an ambition to provide transformative health services that empower individuals and organisations alike.

Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE, co-founder of the UK StartUp Awards (https://startupawards.uk/), said:

"New businesses are the driving force behind any thriving economy, generating employment, pioneering innovation, and contributing to prosperity right across the UK. This year's finalists represent the very best of British entrepreneurial talent, spotting opportunities and, through dedication, skill, and resilience, building ventures that are making a real difference in their industries and communities. The standard of entries in 2026 has been exceptional, and every finalist should be enormously proud of what they have achieved. Regional winners will go on to represent their region at the national final at Ideas Fest in September, and that is a stage worthy of everything they have built."

"The UK StartUp Awards (https://startupawards.uk/), founded by Frankie James and Professor Dylan Jones-Evans as part of Ideas Community, is the UK's largest independent startup awards programme. Now in its fifth year, the awards received over 2,000 entries in 2026. Regional winners go on to compete at the national final, held at Ideas Fest (https://ideasfest.uk/), aka the Glastonbury of Business, on 9th-10th September 2026 at Champneys, Tring, Hertfordshire.
